"My Name Is Joey Satarri, I Hold The Melchizedek Priesthood" + State Week

What's up baby we're back again! This week was a banger and was definitely much needed. Transfer news also came and I'll be here at least another 6 weeks so let's go!   Last Monday we went to Silver Dollar City which is the "Lagoon" of Missouri. It was fun to pull up with the whole district. After we were done we taught our 3 girls again and it was so spiritual and so good. Always the most spiritual part of my week. They told us they'd pray about baptism so I guess we will see..   On Tuesday my companion had to do interviews for some people being baptized and so I got to chill with the people while they were waiting. After he finished, one of them asked for a blessing so I gave my first blessing. It was such a powerful and spiritual moment, definitely one I'll never forget.    We went to visit our friend Hillary and when we knocked on HER house some dude answered saying that Hillary hadn't lived there for a year. He told us he was a Wiccan.... goog...

Halloween Parties And Taking Ls

Back at it again baby definitely a little bit of a trying week but I'm here for it. Also shout out to Noah they cruised state again so W there.    Last Monday we taught our friends Arlenys, Jahyda, and Noeme. They're probably our 3 most promising investigators. We brought our branch president and his wife with us and they were so clutch. Lesson went so well and the spirit was so strong. We are asking them to be baptized tonight most likely so hopefully it all works out...   Wednesday we had District Council and it was good again my district is so awesome. There's a donut place here called Hurts that we went to after, and man is it dangerous. It's like $5 for a donut but they're so good so I'm dropping a bag here every time. Being a Spanish missionary finally hit me.... We ate dinner at a member's house for dinner and oh man I have no idea what that food was but holy cow. Some of the grossest stuff I have ever looked at and eaten.    Thursday I had exchanges ...

Back at it again here we go   Tuesday started off pretty tough when we went to teach our friend Rebecca and 5 minutes into the lesson she asked if she had to be married to her boyfriend to be baptized. Such an L when we told her yes and she basically said "ya I'm in no rush to get married or baptized I guess..." so that was a dagger. Finished out the lesson and she fed her baby again. Sweet. Missouri.    We had district council on Wednesday which taught me how to be a better missionary. BOLDNESS. We went to knock on this one referral door and they definitely did not want anything to do with us so we knocked the adjacent trailer which had the loudest heavy metal music coming from it. Little sketch at first. But the two most bonafide redneck guys answered for us and showed us their electric guitars and played for us for a while. They both loved Christ and let us talk since we listened to them playing. One was in tears when I handed him the Book of Mormon and said he wanted ...

Hola everyone,    Back at it again so here we go. First of all shout out to my lil bro Noah I know it was his birthday so happy birthday to him love you.    Last Monday we taught one of the best lessons ever (says my companion) and my Spanish was the best it's been. Spirit was so strong I was in tears hahaha. We are hoping to invite the people we taught to baptism tonight so ayo.    On Tuesday we had a lesson planned and they weren't there so that was a little frustrating. But that night we had a branch activity and our 3 friends that we taught Monday came! Honestly, crazy surprises. But it's so cool. We also had a returned missionary, Lalo, come. He is obviously a member but his family isn't and he wanted to meet the branch and us before he let us teach them so that was stressful. After the activity at the park Hermano Wachob took us and Lalo to Culver's and Lalo told us after we could go see his family so that's a massive W and we were so excited.  ...

We Out Here

What up!! Crazy how fast time flies out here I am loving it so much. The people here are amazing and the missionaries here are so fun. Work is going good we found 9 new friends here in the last 10 days and they only found 3 last transfer so miracles are definitely happening.    Last Monday was way fun and we were playing district bball and my team went down big early so I pulled out my best Paul George impression and carried us back:). We then had a really cool lesson with this lady who has a son in jail and I think she thought we could help but we told her we couldn't help legally, but we could give a message of peace. She welcomed us in and now we have another lesson tonight!    On Tuesday our branch mission leader, Brayan, called us basically begging for our help and we felt bad so we told him we could help him with his service. Well we got to this house and climbed in a truck with this bonafide redneck dude and it was a decent drive and he just talked about all h...
