I hope you all had a good week. Having some of the most fun I've had my whole mission, soaking up every second and loving it so much. The weather was 70 degrees today, so summer is coming and we are so excited. We have seen so many miracles here lately, so I'll share a couple. Last Saturday, we were knocking on doors and we found a family of 5 from Guatemala. They arrived 2 months ago, and the wife doesn't even speak Spanish; she speaks a native dialect. The whole family came to church and loved it. On Monday night, Elder Crim and I said a prayer before we went to sleep asking for a specific miracle. We asked that God would give us a referral via YouTube that would reach out the very next morning and have a desire to be baptized. At 8 am the next day, we received the text. We went and visited our friend Jose Carlos. He arrived from Puerto Rico a while ago and has recently been seeking the truth. "I've always been a good guy, but I've always been missing somethi...

Hello, Another seven days flew by. Leaving Fort Smith was hard for me. It felt like I left family all over again. Springdale is a lot different than Fort Smith, but the future is bright. We were able to go over the following day and help her begin to prepare for baptism on March 9th. Later that same day, we found a family of three that was able to come to church on Sunday. They haven't been here long and could feel something was missing. They are preparing to be baptized on March 23rd and are so excited. Recently, we have been showing all of our friends the video of Christ being baptized. As they feel t...

Hello! We received transfer news this morning, and I will sadly be leaving Fort Smith. I am so sad to leave. I have loved it here, and it has felt like home. I am going to Springdale, and my new companion will be Elder Crim. I am really excited for the opportunity. I had my exchange with Elder Campbell on Friday. He goes home this week, and it was good to be with him one last time in Fort Smith. We were able to see some of the people we taught together and have some spiritual experiences. I don't have a lot of time, so I will be quick. I have loved Fort Smith. I have seen the example of Jesus Christ change people's lives here. I have had experiences that have changed my life for the better. I love Christ, and I love watching people follow Him. "And it came to pass that we lived after the manner of happiness." Elder Smythe
