The End :(

Hi! I don't have much time. I'll do better next week to make this more entertaining.

Transfer week is this week. Elder Crim will be going to Branson, and I am envious of him. I'll be staying and receiving Elder Johnson. I am sad to see the transfer end.

We were able to have a couple of baptisms for some of our friends. They are Marshallese, but the job got done nonetheless. They are the sweetest family, and they were there an hour before the baptism and 30 minutes before church to get confirmed.

I talked about our friend Olga and how she was going to be baptized this coming Sunday. We had everything confirmed and planned, and then on Tuesday morning, she texted us and said to cancel the baptism. She didn't give an explanation, and we lost contact with her.

We went out that Tuesday night, and she wasn't there. We waited for 40 minutes outside her house, and she never arrived. We decided to go back out last night. She happened to be there, and the six of us went up to her tiny trailer and started to knock on her window and wait for her to come out.

When she came out, we started talking to her, and she told us that she's moving to Oregon on Sunday. We were able to share a spiritual moment with her and help her feel more comfortable. The spirit was tangible, and she agreed to be baptized tonight.

In the book of Helaman, Samuel the Lamanite is prophesying about the coming of Christ. They were five years away from his coming, and he was begging with the people to repent and be baptized.

"...there shall be many signs and wonders in heaven..."

"...whosoever will believe on the Son of God, the same shall have everlasting life..."

"...that ye might know the coming of Jesus Christ..."

How many signs and wonders do we need to see in our lives until we finally decide to make a change?

I love Springdale, and I love doing the Lord's work. It doesn't get better than this.
