"...Life Which Is Eternal."

Hi! I was able to watch Noah open his call to serve in Mexico. So proud of him and so exciting.

Things have been going so well here in Springdale. We are having such a fun time and the Lord has been blessing us abundantly.

Last week we received a referral from a woman named Olga. She reached out and confirmed multiple times that she would like to come to the church. We set up a time to meet her there, and she didn't show up. We were confused, and then we weren't able to get a hold of her.

She called us the next day and explained a dangerous situation she was in with her husband and how alone she felt. We were able to meet her in the church the next day. As we were showing her the chapel, she paused us and told us she had a comment. She broke down in tears and told us she had never felt peace and comfort like this before.

When we got to the baptismal font, she began to cry again. When we invited her to baptism, she cut us off and said, "Yes, when can I do it?"

She explained to us that the day before, her husband had cut off her phone. She had no way to contact us. When she got her new phone, our texts somehow went through to her new phone. She knew that the moment those texts came through to a completely different phone number that this was where she needed to be and this was Christ's church.

She came on Sunday and brought her 93 and 91-year-old mom and dad. Her parents both mentioned to us how much they'd love to be baptized with their daughter on the 24th.

On Tuesday, she told us to come over to her home. We drove 35 minutes into the middle of nowhere, just to find her tiny little RV in the middle of the woods. We taught her the Restoration surrounded by trees and gunshots as the sun was setting.

Olga and her parents mentioned they feel as Nephi did when speaking about our Savior.

"And as many as should look upon the Son of God in faith, having a contrite heart, might live..."

Love you all,
Elder Smythe
