Hello,

Another seven days flew by. Leaving Fort Smith was hard for me. It felt like I left family all over again. Springdale is a lot different than Fort Smith, but the future is bright.

The week that I have been here was arguably the most fun seven days of my mission. The area is amazing, and we have seen so many miracles.

On our very first day here, we were knocking on doors and we knocked on the door of our friend Maria. She got here from Venezuela two months ago, and some of her first words to us were, "I really want to be baptized, I want to restart." We were able to go over the following day and help her begin to prepare for baptism on March 9th.

Later that same day, we found a family of three that was able to come to church on Sunday. They haven't been here long and could feel something was missing. They are preparing to be baptized on March 23rd and are so excited.

Recently, we have been showing all of our friends the video of Christ being baptized. As they feel the spirit, their hearts are softened and opened, and they have the desire to follow the example of their Savior. While reading the scriptures the other day, I found a question that was once asked to a prophet. Alma was asked:

"Why do ye look for a Christ?"

The question has been on my mind frequently. How grateful are we for the knowledge of a Savior who loves us and wants us to return home to him.

I love Springdale, and I love my mission. Change is hard, but in the midst of change and opposition, lies opportunity.

Love you all
